Using the Closing Cost Details Tab

The Payment Calculations workflow of Compliance Safety Net has been updated to include a Closing Cost Details tab. It applies to Consumer, Closed-End, Real Estate Secured transactions and replaces the prior TRID-related tabs with a set of dynamic tables.

Example

Specifically, the tables that appear on the Closing Cost Details tab are:

  • Calculating Cash to Close
  • Summaries of Transactions
  • Payoffs and Payments

Supplying and Editing Values

You can edit fields that are filled with a light shade of gray. Other fields, such as Total Closing Costs, are calculated and cannot be edited.

Example

After adding or editing a value, commit your changes with any of the following methods:

  • Press Tab on the keyboard
  • Press Enter on the keyboard
  • Click outside the newly edited field
  • Click Add Row or Update Row

Defining Multiple Iterations

A vertical ellipsis appears next to row numbers where multiple iterations may be defined.

Click on the ellipsis to add an iteration. A dialog box appears and contains fields associated with that row.

Using the Process Changes Button

After values are added or modified, they must be processed by our internal calculations.

Click the Process Changes button in the upper right corner of the screen to initiate this process. Please note that changing tabs will also process changes.
