This document notes the major software developments for Configuration from version 3.20 to 5.157.

Licensed product update (5.157)

Configuration has been updated so that the application correctly displays licensed products. Reference: CHANGE-8068

Treasury Management update (5.156)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where some Treasury Management data set previews were not rendering as expected. Reference: CHANGE-8135

Mobile update (5.155)

Configuration has been updated to include new workflows that can be found in the Mobile Enabled Account Opening > Tax Favored Account Openings Terms data set. Please note that this update requires the use of document library 2024.288.0 or higher. Reference: CHANGE-8012

Lending Entity Defaults update (5.155)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where the deed of trustee to collateral type link was not functioning correctly in the Lending Customization > Lending Entity Defaults data set. Reference: CHANGE-7861

Data element attribute update (5.155)

Configuration has been updated so that data element attributes (optional, required, hidden, etc.) are preserved when data sets are exported/imported. Reference: CHANGE-7532

Security upgrade (5.154)

Some third-party upgrades were performed to improve the security of Configuration. Reference: CHANGE-7849

Error handling for HTML validation (5.153)

Configuration has been updated to incorporate an error message when pasted text fails HTML validation. Reference: CHANGE-7781

Conflict report issue (5.152)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where conflict reports for data sets and selection groups did not consistently show a complete list of conflicts. Reference: CHANGE-8065

Licensed product update (5.151)

Configuration has been updated so that the application correctly displays licensed products. Reference: CHANGE-8054

Mobile update (5.149)

Configuration has been updated to include a banner message in our mobile solution. This message informs users that a signature card is not part of the mobile document package and that an alternative method must be used to comply with regulatory requirements where a signature card may be used. Reference: CHANGE-7793

Historical index rate table update (5.148)

Modified the predefined 15-year historical index rate tables in Configuration to ensure that the five tables for July display rates from July 2010 through 2024. Reference: CHANGE-7918

Data set export issue (5.147)

Configuration has been updated to ensure that buttons related to data set export functionality is displayed as expected. Reference: CHANGE-7887

OAO selection group publish issue (5.147)

Configuration has been updated to ensure that OAO selection groups can be published as expected. Reference: CHANGE-7882

Selection group information issue (5.147)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where associated selection groups were not being displayed in the Group Information section on the Properties tab for a custom document. Reference: CHANGE-7807

Lock/hide checkbox list items (5.147)

Configuration has been updated so that checkbox list items defined in the Lending Common Settings data set can be locked and/or hidden in Compliance Safety Net at transaction time. Reference: CHANGE-7692

Data set search functionality (5.147)

Configuration has been updated to allow users to search for data inside data sets. Reference: CHANGE-7339

Business Continuity error (5.146)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where clicking the Download button for Business Continuity functionality did not always download the selected documents as expected. Reference: CHANGE-7774

Static custom document checkbox support added (5.146)

Configuration has been updated to add support for the use of checkboxes in static custom documents. Reference: CHANGE-7763

Batch certification button issue (5.146)

Configuration has been updated to ensure the buttons related to batch certification functionality are enabled/disabled as expected. Reference: CHANGE-7292

Analyze Data update (5.145)

Configuration has been updated to ensure the Certify button remains inactive until the Analyze Data process is complete. Reference: CHANGE-7717

Data set export error (5.144)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to export a data set would result in an error. Reference: CHANGE-7729

Iterative data error (5.144, 5.142.1)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to supply iterative data while completing a data set would result in an error. Reference: CHANGE-7728

Loan Summary issue (5.144)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where the Custom Selection Logic section of the Loan Summary did not always display the correct publish date/time information. This was caused by an issue with the Supplemental FXL file. Reference: CHANGE-7720

Account Information/Account Agreement updates (5.144)

Configuration has been updated to provide users with additional flexibility for the Account Information document and the Account Agreement document. Reference: CHANGE-7674

Partner password settings update (5.144)

Configuration has been updated so that partner administrators can have emails sent on their behalf to users with passwords that are about to expire. Reference: CHANGE-7351

Configuration online help link updated (5.143)

Configuration now includes an updated Configuration Assistance link at the top of the screen. Clicking this link opens a new browser tab with online help resources related to Configuration. Please note that while the information itself remains unchanged, it is now presented in a way that reflects our current branding standards. Reference: CHANGE-7679

Custom Documents > Dictionary Manager update (5.143)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where users attempting to add a data element from the Partner Dictionary to the Institution Dictionary would result in an error. Reference: CHANGE-7673

Selection Group Report update (5.142)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where the Selection Group Report did not always list data conflicts accurately. Reference: CHANGE-7619

Performance improvements (5.142)

Configuration has been updated to reduce the time it takes to perform several object listing activities. Reference: CHANGE-7506

Entity Defaults workflow added (5.142)

Configuration has been updated to include a new Entity Defaults workflow to Document Settings > Lending Customization. This workflow allows users to set up entities with the following roles for defaulting in Compliance Safety Net sessions: Deed of Trust Trustee, Financial Institution Authorized Signer, Insurance Company, Notary, Recordable Document Preparer, Recordable Document Return to Party, and Attorney in Fact. Unused help file removal (5.141)

Configuration has been updated to remove unused help files. Reference: CHANGE-7523

Performance improvements (5.139)

Configuration has been updated to reduce the time it takes to perform several data publishing activities. Reference: CHANGE-7572

Truth in Savings product name data update (5.138)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where the Product name field in the Products > Truth in Savings Disclosure data set was not always honored on rendered documents. Reference: CHANGE-7491

List load updates (5.137)

Configuration has been updated to improve the time needed to load lists throughout the application. Reference: CHANGE-7505, CHANGE-7565

Added support for promptable collateral descriptions on the UCC-1 (5.137)

Configuration has been updated to add support for the creation of promptable UCC-1 descriptions. If these descriptions are defined in Configuration, they will appear on the UCC tab in Compliance Safety Net. Reference: CHANGE-7015

Mobile product download issue (5.136)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where the Download button was not working for our Mobile product. Reference: CHANGE-7539

Additional support for hiding undefined fields (5.136)

CHANGE-6434 allowed users to hide optional fields in Compliance Safety Net that are not defined in Configuration. This functionality has been expanded to include some fields that use checkbox lists for responses. Reference: CHANGE-7415

Branding update (5.136)

Configuration has been updated so that the footer displayed on custom documents reflects current branding standards. Reference: CHANGE-7156

Updated index rate tables (5.135)

The rate tables in Configuration have been updated to include July 2023 and January 2024 index rates. Reference: CHANGE-7511

Custom document search issue (5.134)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where searching for data elements using the custom document dictionary pane would automatically revert to showing all data elements after a short period of time. Reference: CHANGE-7457

Custom document dictionary data issue (5.134)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to copy a data element from the Standard Dictionary to the Institution Dictionary would result in the data element losing its data type. This resulted in digital signature data elements not being treated as a signature field on the custom document. Reference: CHANGE-7454

Custom document module update (5.134)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where having multiple identical fields on a static custom document would result in an error message when attempting to publish a selection group including that document. Reference: CHANGE-7449

Direct publish data issue (5.134)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where some data was being duplicated for direct publish users. Reference: CHANGE-7380

Mobile product URL issue (5.133)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where data set group names that contained additional spaces would cause URL issues with our Mobile product. Reference: CHANGE-7482

Login screen error message update (5.131)

Configuration has been updated so that more helpful error messaging is provided on the login screen for invalid login attempts. Reference: CHANGE-7349

User interface update (5.131)

Configuration has been updated so that the document libraries that appear in the table on the Preferences > Document Library tab are sorted by default to show the newest available document library first. Prior to this change, the table was sorted in a way that displayed the oldest available document libraries first. Reference: CHANGE-7322

API update (5.130)

Configuration has been updated to support a delete from disk option and a Maintenance API has been added. Reference: CHANGE-7410

User interface update (5.130)

Configuration has been updated so that the browser tab name and the Preferences > Launch Runtime tab reflect current branding standards. Reference: CHANGE-7389

Selection criteria update (5.130)

Configuration has been updated to improve the way selection criteria data is handled. Reference: CHANGE-7202

Timeout setting update (5.129)

Institution dictionary issue (5.129)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where a financial institution’s Institution Dictionary values for custom documents were not always imported correctly. Reference: CHANGE-7371

Batch certification issue (5.128, 5.127.1)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where users attempting to use the batch certification functionality would experience indiscriminate data loss. Reference: CHANGE-7264

User interface update (5.128)

Configuration has been updated so that several dialog boxes related to session timeout, user management, and license expiration reflect current branding standards. Reference: CHANGE-7111

Association update (5.126, 5.124.1)

Configuration has been updated to support combining applications for joint applicants using Credit Applicant associations. Reference: CHANGE-7143

Invalid error issue (5.125)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where some users would receive a licensing server failure error when a licensing server is not defined. Reference: CHANGE-7109

Attribute icon visibility update (5.125)

Configuration has been updated so that the icons used for hiding fields and making certain optional fields required in Compliance Safety Net do not display for fields that are required to certify a data set. Reference: CHANGE-7100

Data set preview update (5.125)

Configuration has been updated so that PDF previews of completed data sets can be saved, printed, and emailed from the browser. Reference: CHANGE-6675

Null reference exception (5.124)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to open certain data sets or selection groups could result in an error. Reference: CHANGE-6990

Configuration has been updated to support attaching a static custom document (PDF) to a mobile-enabled selection group. When publishing, a standalone URL is generated for the static custom document attached to a mobile-enabled selection group. Please note that these documents are not part of the preview generated from the selection group. Reference: CHANGE-6854

User interface update (5.116)

Configuration has been updated to reflect current branding standards. All references to “TruStage Compliance Solutions” have been changed to “TruStage Compliance Solutions” and all references to Configuration have been changed to “Configuration”. Reference: CHANGE-6642

Simplicity Mobile Account Opening update (5.116)

Configuration has been updated for Simplicity Mobile Account Opening users. This change allows online-only or digital-only financial institutions to modify our default language so that their documents reflect that the financial institution has only an online presence. Reference: CHANGE-6595

Launch Runtime issue (5.111)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where users could not always launch Runtime from the application. Reference: CHANGE-6709

User email update (5.110)

Configuration has been updated so that a user’s previously saved email address is notified when the email address is updated in the system. Reference: CHANGE-6385

Partner API update (5.99)

Version visibility update (5.98)

Configuration has been updated to make the document library version visible on the Publish page. Additionally, for selection groups, data sets, etc., the document library number has been added to the Current Status column so that users can more easily determine which version of the data was last saved or published. CHANGE-5967

Treasury Management preview/publish issue (5.97)

Configuration has been updated to address errors that some users would receive when attempting to preview or publish Treasury Management content. Reference: CHANGE-5933

Treasury Management warning message (5.96)

Configuration has been updated to display a warning message related to specific security procedures on the General tab of the Treasury Management Customization workflow. Reference: CHANGE-6044

Doc library version display update (5.96)

Configuration has been updated to display the doc library version number on the Publish tab and the Current Status column for selection groups, data sets, etc. so users can easily see what version of the data was last saved or published. Reference: CHANGE-5967

HTML URL naming update (5.93)

Configuration has been updated to adjust the URL generated for published HTML files so that spaces are converted to underscores. Reference: CHANGE-5643

Configuration online help update (5.92)

Configuration has been updated to include a new Configuration Assistance link in the header. This link will send users to updated online help for Configuration in a new browser tab. Reference: CHANGE-5946

Licensed products and features update (5.91)

Configuration has been updated to include the products and features that are licensed separately from the license key. Reference: CHANGE-5893

Custom document table word wrap issue (5.90)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where users could not edit table text for a custom document when it was moved off-screen. This issue was a result of the previous default word wrap setting and has been resolved. Reference: CHANGE-5797

Custom document paste improvements (5.90)

Configuration has been updated to improve the paste functionality for the third-party text editor used when creating or editing custom documents. Reference: CHANGE-5785

Improvements for launching Compliance Safety Net from Configuration (5.90)

CHANGE-2654 added the ability for users to launch Compliance Safety Net directly from their Configuration environment. More informative messaging has been added to Configuration for partners configuring this functionality. Reference: CHANGE-5716

Hyphen UI validation (5.87)

Configuration has been updated to display warning messages when hyphens are used in the Unique Document ID field for a custom document with an Association Level other than Transaction. Reference: CHANGE-5720

Smart Provisions support added (5.85)

Configuration has been updated to add support for Smart Provisions, which allow users to select code snippets to insert in customized provision language. This functionality is accessible for clients licensed for lending provisions and is available when appending or replacing default provision language. Reference: CHANGE-4378

Static custom document error (5.84, 5.80.1)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where users would experience an error when attempting to switch tabs while editing a static custom document. Reference: CHANGE-5631

Document library handling update (5.84)

Configuration has been updated to add handling related to stored data when a document library change is applied to prevent possible data loss. Reference: CHANGE-5554

Additional Products tab update (5.83)

The Additional Products tab in Configuration has been updated to include a Treasury Management Overview video. Reference: CHANGE-5260

Batch certification issue (5.82, 5.80.1)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue that disabled the batch certification of multiple data sets. Reference: CHANGE-5588

Updated index rate tables (5.81)

Additional Products tab update (5.80)

The Additional Products tab in Configuration has been updated to increase the amount of available video content. Reference: CHANGE-5260

Rolodex functionality improvements (5.77)

Our rolodex functionality allows users to provide a list of items in Configuration that can be used as a list of items to select from for a field in Compliance Safety Net. This functionality has been expanded so users can select Other as an option for applicable data elements. Reference: CHANGE-5255

Updated text editor component (5.77)

Configuration has been updated to incorporate an updated version of a third-party text editor. Reference: CHANGE-4486

Null exception error (5.76)

Configuration has been updated to address an intermittent issue where a null exception error would occur when a selection group did not include a TIS workflow. Reference: CHANGE-5226

Rolodex functionality improvements (5.76)

Our rolodex functionality allows users to provide a list of items in Configuration that can be used as a list of items to select from for a field in Compliance Safety Net. This functionality has been expanded so users can select multiple provisions for certain documents called in a transaction. Reference: CHANGE-5176

Navigation Pane update (5.76)

The Navigation Pane in Configuration has been updated so that workflows related to Mobile Enabled Account Opening are grouped together in a new section. These workflows can be found below the Provisions workflows section in the Navigation Pane. Reference: CHANGE-4799

Rolodex functionality updates (5.75)

CHANGE-2981 introduced functionality that allows multiple data sets from the same category to be associated with a single selection group. This functionality has been updated to support the implementation of an upcoming change. Reference: CHANGE-5031

Simplicity Mobile partner customization update (5.75)

Configuration has been updated to support partner-level customization for Simplicity Mobile HTML content. Reference: CHANGE-4970

Text box update (5.74)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to use the left and right keyboard actions while making edits in a text box did not behave as expected. Reference: CHANGE-5071

Static custom document improvements (5.74)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where existing data elements would not always appear as expected when editing static custom documents. Reference: CHANGE-5068

API update (5.73)

Configuration has been updated so that the API now returns documents as objects. This update was made so metadata can be retained as expected. Reference: CHANGE-4667

Invalid variable name error (5.71)

Prior to this update, when suffixed selection criteria was used in a selection group, a JavaScript error was returned when the name included a space or started with a number. As a result of this update, user-entered data is prevented from being used unparsed as variable names in JavaScript. Reference: CHANGE-4934

API return value update for direct publish environments (5.70)

When using the Configuration API, partner users can return a list of all published files for an institution. The naming convention for returning files in direct publish environments is now the same as in cloud-hosted environments. This allows partner users to perform version checks for published files while returning a consistent naming convention to more easily track these records. Reference: CHANGE-4818

Tiered rate handling improvements for direct publish environments (5.69)

Configuration has been updated to provide direct publish users with improved internal logic to ensure that the last tier on tiered rate products render without error when the last tier has a high amount. Reference: CHANGE-4406

Suffixed data modifications for commercial lending transactions (5.68)

Internal logic has been modified so that users can add suffixed Collateral State and Index Basis information to create relevant selection groups for use in commercial lending transactions. Reference: CHANGE-3791

ProductTypeCount data conflict handling (5.67)

Configuration has been updated so that the ProductTypeCount for TIS overrides the ProductTypeCount for fee schedule in the event of a data conflict. Reference: CHANGE-4819

TIS publishing issue (5.67)

Configuration has been updated to correct an issue where TIS groups could be published without fully meeting publish-ready criteria. Reference: CHANGE-4816

Simplicity Mobile treasury management update (5.67)

Configuration has been updated to allow users to preview and publish their Treasury Management content. Reference: CHANGE-4758

Selection group publication error (5.66)

There was an issue where some users could not publish selection groups if custom documents were included and would receive an error. Configuration has been updated to improve the way post-signature script code is handled and this issue has been corrected. Reference: CHANGE-4812

Static custom document improvements (5.66)

Configuration has been updated to increase the resolution of static custom documents. Reference: CHANGE-4297

Simplicity Mobile publish file naming issue (5.65)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where publishing Simplicity Mobile files would sometimes lead to the erroneous removal of leading zeroes from financial institution identification numbers. Reference: CHANGE-4668

Simplicity Mobile TIS updates (5.65)

Configuration has been updated to incorporate several enhancements to functionality related to Simplicity Mobile and Truth in Savings data.

(1) Mobile online account opening account options have been added so users can select which types of accounts their institution offers as part of their mobile online account opening solution.

(2) A data element has been added so users can indicate their use of our mobile-enabled online account opening solution. If a user indicates the solution is used by their institution, a new tab is displayed to further configure the Terms and Conditions content. This data allows users to set up selection groups for Simplicity Mobile.

File publishing issue (5.64)

CHANGE-4168 attempted to resolve an issue where publishing all selection groups at once could cause some files to publish multiple times. Depending on the number and size of these files, this behavior could cause the system to hang or return an error. It was discovered that this issue was ongoing for some users, and the issue has been resolved. Reference: CHANGE-4674

Simplicity Mobile URL naming update (5.62)

Configuration has been updated so that when HTML content is published, the URLs generated have more logical names that include document titles. Reference: CHANGE-4523

Suffixed data modifications for multiple accounts (5.62)

Internal logic has been modified to improve the handling of suffixed data when multiple accounts are being opened. Reference: CHANGE-4499

Updated index rate tables (5.61)

The rate tables in Configuration have been updated to include January 2021 and July 2021 index rates. Reference: CHANGE-4568

Direct publish TIS formatting update (5.61)

Configuration has been updated to improve the way text displays for the TIS tiers table in direct publish environments. Reference: CHANGE-4562

Static custom document issue (5.61)

Configuration has been updated to address an issue where attempting to create a new static custom document would result in an error. Reference: CHANGE-4559

Tiered rate handling improvements for direct publish environments (5.60)

Configuration has been updated to provide direct publish users with a control type file to better handle tiered rate products. Reference: CHANGE-4483

Simplicity Mobile update (5.60)

Configuration has been updated to allow users to publish the Online Banking Agreement and Overdraft Services Consent Form as separate documents/URLs. Prior to this change, these documents rendered in the combined Terms and Conditions. Reference: CHANGE-4452

Multiple accounts support (5.59)

Configuration has been updated to support opening multiple deposit accounts in a single transaction. Reference: CHANGE-3315

Download functionality added for HTML content (5.57)

This change also created a new document Privacy Notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). The Privacy Notice is intended to be included with the Notice at Collection and optionally the Notice of Right to Opt Out. The Privacy Policy workflow in Configuration was modified to allow for collection of the data required for the new document.

Document addition and suppression (5.19)

Configuration has been updated to allow users to add and suppress standard TruStage Compliance Solutions documents from the Manage Content tab of the Selection Groups activity. When this functionality is turned on, Configuration makes an API call with the current document library and license key and returns a list of all standard documents that the institution is licensed for. These additions and suppressions are reflected in Compliance Safety Net transactions.

Please note the following:

• Suppression takes precedence over addition. For example, if two selection groups with satisfied criteria adds and suppresses the same document, that document is suppressed in the transaction.
• All instances of suppressed documents are withheld from the transaction. For example, if a suppressed document is selected for two borrowers in a transaction, neither borrower receives a copy of that document.
• For systems that consume warning messages, a warning is added to the IntelleDoc job result that indicates which documents have been suppressed in the transaction.
• All preceding logic that is built into the DSL and IntelleDoc are honored before including document additions. For example, documents cannot be added across product lines.
• After all logic is evaluated, if any of the selection criteria is met for a document addition, that document will be added to the transaction and if a document is selected for two borrowers in a transaction, both borrowers receive a copy of that document.

Launch Compliance Safety Net from Configuration (5.11)

This new functionality may be accessed in Configuration from Preferences > Launch Runtime. This requires a TXL file containing all required minimum data and any information generated in the partner platform system. The partner administrator of Configuration must provide a Runtime endpoint for users before this is enabled for financial institution users. The recommended endpoint is either Monthly Production or Quarterly Production. Commercial Promissory Note workflow and data element (5.11)

If a selection group has parents with a child header and footer as well as a standalone header and footer, only the standalone header and footer data is published and evaluated for conflicts and the preview headers and footers are ignored. Compliance Safety Net 1.6 (see corresponding release notes) has initial support for a feature where CSi Simplicity data’s appearance and editability in the Compliance Safety Net can be controlled from settings within CSi Simplicity. Hidden Create Data Set button (3.21)

In Google Chrome with the browser window at the minimum size (1024px), the Create Data Set button region was overlapped by text and mostly not clickable. This has been corrected. Reference: SMPL-6651

Rate table issues (3.21)

The Rate Table data set utilized for Home Equity loan disclosure in some scenarios would not restrict the list of values to 15 years. This has been resolved. Reference: SMPL-6602, SMPL-5548

Issue with data sets after document library update (3.21)

When updating to a newer Document Library version in CSi Simplicity, certain certified data would be evaluated as complete in the audit process erroneously. This issue has been corrected. Reference: SMPL-6583

Calculation licensing update (3.20)

CSi Simplicity has been updated to prepare for an upcoming document library change. Some Calculation related data sets will be introduced and support for calculation licensing is available in this version of CSi Simplicity. Reference: SMPL-6649

Static custom document issues in IE11 (3.20)

The Static Custom Document functionality was not working properly in Internet Explorer version 11. This was determined to be related to the PDF.js third-party library in use with this functionality. An update to that library has solved this issue. Reference: SMPL-6644
